The pub game with standards

Mind your hand.
Mind your pint.

Declare your hand, watch the clock, and keep your pint safely inside the table edge.

Normal play. The person breaking a rule pays the penalty.

Three rules. No excuses.

Every player declares a dominant hand before the first pint arrives.

  1. Rule one

    Use the legal hand

Your foul hand changes every six hours. Drink with it and the table can call the offence.

  2. Rule two

    Respect the edge

Rest the glass more than one finger from the table edge. Any player's finger counts, including the nail.

  3. Advanced rule

    Know the first five

During the first five minutes of every hour, the accuser takes the penalty. If you call a foul, you must finish your own pint.

The hand changes with the day

For a right-handed player, dominant means right. For a left-handed player, it means left.

GENTLEMEN!

Honour the call

After the penalty, the player shakes every hand at the table. Everyone congratulates them with the traditional call.

The game never overrules consent. Any player can skip a penalty, choose alcohol-free drinks, or stop playing.

Proudly supported by absolutely none of these.

No sponsors. No free kegs. We simply know what is usually on tap.
